I had finished the book earlier, but was not keen on discussing it then. Alright, so if I were to review “Anna Karenina”, what would I say? I definitely liked the author’s style, though it was elaborate, it made me appreciate literature. As for the plot and characters, I like some more than others. Levin is my favourite character and Anna my least liked (no offense). The plot itself is very simple, but the complications arise because of the elaborate descriptions.
Overall, I would say it was a necessary read especially for literature buffs and the essence of literature was very apparent in it. A.K. has somehow made me curious for Tolstoy’s other famous work - “War and Peace”.
