This was an amazing read! The tale was very gripping and is stricken with emotion, not to mention the numerous visuals that you get as you read. One of the first books where I was reduced to death on a character’s death! It is aesthetic, compelling, thought-provoking and satisfying! Chitra Banerjee has done some amazing work with the re-telling! 

I would definitely recommend the book to people interested in Classical Indian Literature, but also to anyone, “The Palace of Illusions” is a journey worth taking!
