It explores a variety of contexts and there are a lot of connecting dots. History buffs will definitely love it, and personally the narrative style is my favourite! I had left it half-read, a year ago and went back to it. This I see is a reflection of its authenticity and the curiosity it kindles in the reader. The book represents how history can get distorted and may not always be the truth.
It delves into what is important for the human world, represents themes of Love, Hate, and has a strong spine of spirituality connecting all the chapters. 10 chapters, 10 different characters, both human and non-human, and if I am not wrong, the author himself sneaks a peak to say hello! My favourite character though, was the woodworm.
